INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis man was arrested after he allegedly provided drugs that caused a double fatal overdose in August 2024 on the near northwest side of Indianapolis.

According to court documents recently filed in Marion County, 44-year-old Kadeem Roache was charged with two counts of dealing in a controlled substance resulting in death, each a Level 1 felony.

On Aug. 11, 2024, officers with the northwest district of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to a home in the 2200 block of Riverside East Drive on a welfare check.

When officers arrived at the home, a news release from IMPD stated that two women were located and were unresponsive. One of the women was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was taken to a local hospital, where she was l
