A GoFundMe fundraiser for a Campbell River family, who tragically lost their home and all their belongings to a devastating fire last week, is in the final stretch.

On Sept. 15, the Campbell River Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Serenity Drive and discovered a single-family house engulfed in flames.

The firefighters worked for several hours to bring the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to neighbouring properties. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
