MURRAY, Ky. (WSIL) -- Murray Police Department officers responded to a call about a suspicious person at an apartment complex in the afternoon hours on September 19.

Police said Dawson McCoy, 26 of Murray, appeared intoxicated and had tried to grab two young children. Officers said both children managed to pull away from McCoy.

McCoy was then arrested and cited with Attempted Kidnapping of a Minor and Alcohol Intoxication offenses.
