JOHNSTON CITY, Ill. (WSIL) — Southern Illinois drivers looking for a spooky thrill won’t need to leave their cars this fall. Jack-O-Lantern Lane, a free interactive haunted drive-through, returns September 27 and runs nightly through Halloween.
The attraction transforms a winding path in Johnston City into a Halloween spectacle filled with glowing pumpkins, eerie displays, and live actors who approach vehicles for scares. Organizers say the setup is “just like a traditional haunted attraction, but from the comfort of your car.”
