Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Tuesday suspended three leaders, including firebrand women’s affairs general secretary Shreemayee Mishra, for alleged involvement in ‘anti-party activities.
An office order signed by Pratap Jena, vice-president, headquarters, of the BJD said the three leaders are suspended from the party for their involvement in anti-party activities with immediate effect. ADVERTISEMENT
Apart from Shreemayee Mishra, ex-block president of Kaptipada Subas Chandra Sai and ex-district secretary of Mayurbhanj Pravir Chandra Sai have also been suspended by the regional party.
