Official statements have been released after a Michigan high school football player sent an opposing player to the hospital with spine fractures last week.

Stevensville Lakeshore Public Schools and Kalamazoo Central Public Schools, along with the Michigan High School Athletic Association, have responded following the incident that occurred during last Thursday’s junior varsity football game.
