Sunbury Councilman John Barnhart remembered by colleagues

SUNBURY — Sunbury Councilman and resident John Barnhart unexpectedly passed away Monday afternoon, leaving his colleagues and friends stunned and saddened.

Barnhart, a veteran and member of several organizations throughout the Valley, including the Masonic Lodge and the Americus Hose Company, became a member of the council in 2021 after he was the top vote-getter in that year's election.
