TC Energy Corp. will focus on ramping up U.S. investments to meet soaring power demand despite signals Canada is showing a more energy-friendly stance.

“The returns we can earn in the United States are significantly more attractive than they are in Canada,” chief executive Francois Poirier said during the 2025 Concordia Annual Summit in New York. “I expect that the U.S. will continue to be where we’ll invest.”
