A 31-year-old man is facing theft and drug charges in connection with a stolen commercial vehicle in Kitchener.

Waterloo Regional Police said on Monday, at approximately 8 a.m., they received a report of a break-in and a vehicle stolen from a business in the area of King Street East and Gateway Park Drive.

Shortly before 2 p.m., officers found the vehicle, a Chevrolet Silverado, in the area of Charles Street West and Ontario Street South and arrested a man.

Officers seized suspected crystal methamphetamine, vehicle keys and break-in tools.

The man, from Kitchener, was charged with break and enter — committing an indictable offence, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of break-in instruments, possession of a Schedule 1 substance and operating a vehicle while prohibited.
