LONG COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Long County Animal Control is closed for the next two weeks due to an outbreak of parvovirus.

Long County Animal Control posted about the outbreak on their Facebook page on Tuesday.

In the post, Long County Animal Control says they are only accepting emergency calls at this time.

If you find a stray animal, you are asked to call and you will be put on the list for pick-up. No stray animal will be picked up quarantine is over on Oct. 7.
