A second victim has died from his injuries in what police are calling a murder-suicide in Independence. Advertisement

It happened along Regal Drive, just off Taylor Mill Road late Sunday.

Independence police say they responded to the Taylor Ridge Apartments at 11:21 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers say they found a man outside the apartments with an apparent gunshot wound.

Officials say the man was transported to the hospital in critical condition. He died the next day from his injuries, according to the Hamilton County Coroner's Office. He has been identified as 33-year-old Daylon Bradford. The cause of death is listed as apparent homicide.
