Two Brooklyn high schools received threats about someone coming to shoot students — and cops are trying to determine if the same caller made both unfounded threats, police said Tuesday.

The menacing phone calls were made within minutes of each other, beginning at 8:15 a.m. Monday at Cristo Ray Brooklyn High School , a Catholic high school on E. 37th St. in East Flatbush, and at Brooklyn Prospect High School, a charter school at 3rd St. and Fort Hamilton Parkway in Kensington.

In each case, someone called, claiming, “Someone will be there in five minutes to shoot up the school,” a police source with knowledge of the case said.

During at least one of the threats, the caller used a vocal distortion device to conceal their voice, police said.
