The City of St. John’s has encountered a glitch with a small number of election mail-in ballots.
Some of the kits addressed to civic addresses in the Goulds were returned to City Hall by Canada Post. About 300 kits are in question as the corporation does not deliver civic-addressed mail when a P.O. box is on file.
The returned kits are being held at City Hall and can be re-addressed or picked up. Anyone using a P.O. box can call 311 of 754-CITY.
Residents also have the option of voting in person on Election Day at the Shea Heights Community Centre or the Goulds Recreation Centre from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
