Bob Fosse, born Robert Louis Fosse on June 23, 1927, in Chicago, became a big name in the world of dance and New York City's Broadway. The dancer, actor, choreographer and filmmaker spent decades in the industry, from his early days as a dancer on 'Your Hit Parade' and 'Kiss Me Kate,' to choreographing musicals like 'The Pajama Game' and 'Damn Yankees' and directing films 'Cabaret,' 'All That Jazz' and 'Star 80.' On Sept. 23, 1987, Fosse died of a heart attack at the age of 60.
