PEMBROKE — The Town of Pembroke will hold a Veterans Day Parade on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m., with a line up time of 9 a.m.

The parade route will be different this year due to road construction. It will begin at the State Employees Credit Union (SECU) at 921 West Third Street and will conclude on Railroad Street next to Burger King near UNC Pembroke.

Marching units, bands, queens and kings and floats are expected to participate in the parade. Floats are $450 to enter.

A veterans ceremony will follow the parade at 11 a.m. at Milton R. Hunt Memorial Park. Command Sgt. Major Earl Rice will be the guest speaker. Come show your support to the armed forces who keep America free.

A raffle will be held to win a four-burner 36-inch Blackstone grill. Tickets are $5 and
