Pembroke Fire Chief Scott Selle is calling on all Pembroke residents to test their smoke alarms on Sept. 28 as part of Test Your Smoke Alarm Day .

The fire chief added that you can be ‘Saved by the Beep’ with a working smoke alarm as it is your best chance to keep you and your family safe in the event of a fire.

Pembroke is joining communities throughout Ontario for Test Your Smoke Alarm Day on Sept. 28 by asking everyone to take a minute to ensure that there are working smoke alarms installed in their home.
