SENECA COUNTY, Ohio — Ohio Gubernatorial candidate and former presidential primary candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will speak in Seneca County on Tuesday, a county whose board of elections recently said it would not hire employees who objected to electronic voting machines as poll location managers.

It's a decision it said it plans to revisit and likely rescind during that meeting, Seneca County Board of Elections Deputy Director James Ehrman said to WTOL 11.

Ramaswamy's campaign team said in a media advisory the candidate would speak at the county's board of elections meeting Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., and would specifically address the board's earlier decision in the context of the First Amendment right to freedom of speech.
