Walk the Walk event promises unity and celebration for a cause

The annual Walk the Walk for Breast Cancer is set for Sept. 27, according to a community announcement.

The event, organized by Lucky Rooster and One Nation, aims to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer support in Calhoun County.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at Lucky Rooster, 1299 E. Columbia Ave. The walk starts at 10 a.m. and ends at One Nation Tap & Table. A shuttle will be available to return participants to the starting point.
