Authorities are searching for Erwin Xavier Barnes, who is wanted on a murder charge out of Yazoo City and is considered armed and dangerous.

Police said Barnes was last seen in Yazoo City. He is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and about 158 pounds.

Anyone who sees Barnes or knows his whereabouts should not approach him and should call Yazoo City Police at 662-746-0014.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
