The England Cricket Board (ECB) has officially announced the 16-man squad for the upcoming 2025/26 Ashes series. Ben Stokes will lead the Englishmen's charge Down Under. Harry Brook will take over as the new Test vice-captain, replacing Ollie Pope.

Notably, Ben Stokes is coming off a shoulder injury in the recently concluded Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy series. The skipper missed out on match five at The Oval, where Team India clinched a thrilling win by six runs on day five. The series ended in a 2-2 draw.
