As of this morning, the severe weather threat for today has moved to the west of us, therefore North Alabama is no longer outlined in the threat. Wednesday brings another threat for storms.

Showers and storms are present this morning, and will expect to stick around throughout the afternoon hours today. Although not under a severe threat anymore, these storms could pack a punch with heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and frequent lightning. Highs will sit in the upper 80s today.

Wednesday's threat covers our whole coverage area with a marginal 1/5 risk to see stronger storms. There will be two rounds, one will push through in the morning in the Shoals around 5am and will continue to push through north Alabama in the morning.
