STURBRIDGE — Old Sturbridge Village is busy transforming its 250-acre property into a historic Halloween celebration.
Phantoms by Firelight — an event that Rhys Simmons, director of interpretation for the village, says has become “a beloved tradition” — returns next month.
“There’s a lot of different options for you to entertain yourself during Halloween. You could go up to Salem, you could go to haunted houses, go on hay wagon rides. But why come to Old Sturbridge Village?” Simmons said in an interview with The Republican.
The answer, Simmons explained, is that Old Sturbridge Village is a “one-stop shop” for all ages.
