Alternative music fans looking to get fit in Glasgow should soon head to the southside after a class that combines spin with a soundtrack that's more on the heavier side revealed it has a new home there.

The Cycle Pit , which is the brainchild of Hamilton-based couple Ian Todd and Heather Ryce, takes the low-impact, high-intensity workout and transforms it into a 'gig on a bike' that aims to get fans of the likes of Emo, Metal and Punk music moving and has been a huge success since launching just over a year and a half ago.

Now, in just a few weeks, Glasgow’s first alternative music spin studio will be opening its doors at Enterprise Park in Castlemilk.
