Viewer Question: Are there any plans to fix all the potholes in the parking lot of the Mattydale Plaza?

This plaza, off Route 11, has been back in the spotlight since it was announced that a new restaurant is moving into the closed Zebb's.

That headline sent another round of questions about the rough parking lot and when the potholes would be repaired. According to Salina’s Planning and Zoning Office, an "Order to Remedy" had been sent to the plaza's owner back in June.

The town said that if the parking lot is not addressed, they can choose to deny future permits for any work on the property.

According to Onondaga County property records, the property was sold to Mattydale Plaza Holdings LLC for $1.8 million in 2024.
