BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- Drivers are being reminded not to drink and drive, and the Blair County DUI Task Force will be out this weekend to enforce that.

Officers of the task force will be on area roadways for checkpoints, roving patrol or mobile awareness to ensure Blair County roads are as safe as possible. • Avoid drunk driving altogether and don't drink and drive. • Before drinking, designate a sober (non-drinking) driver. • If you’re impaired, use an Uber, taxi, or call a sober friend or family member. • If you see a drunk driver on the road, don’t hesitate to contact 911.

If you know someone who has been drinking and plans to drive, the task force urges you to take their keys from them. "Friends don't let friends drive drunk," as the ad goes.
