The Canadian economy is expected to grow by 1.1 per cent in 2025 and 1.2 per cent next year, according to a report released by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on Tuesday.

The OECD has revised up the Canadian growth outlook by a modest 0.1 per cent for both 2025 and 2026, compared to its previous interim economic outlook earlier this year. The OECD also upgraded global growth for this year to 3.2 per cent compared to the 2.9 per cent previously forecasted, as economies showed more resilience during the first half of 2025.
