Lansdowne Public School has been selected to participate in the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation’s annual Adopt-a-School fundraising program.

Every dollar donated from now to Oct. 5, Indigo Sudbury and online through the Love of Reading Foundation will go towards the purchase of books – in English and French – at a generous discount.

“Reading opens up a world of possibilities,” principal Elisa McNeil said in a release. “It builds strong literacy skills, supports success across all subjects, and encourages students to be lifelong learners and critical thinkers.

“Reading also inspires confidence and ignites curiosity.”
