LAPORTE, Ind. (WNDU) - A LaPorte woman is facing several charges after police say she sped away from an attempted traffic stop and flipped over her vehicle late Monday night.

23-year-old Liliana Magana was arrested on three counts of operating while intoxicated.

According to police, it all started just after 11 p.m. when a deputy saw a vehicle traveling at least 60 mph in a 35-mph zone on Pine Lake Avenue near Waverly Road.

The deputy turned on his emergency lights and siren, but Magana reportedly did not slow down.

A short time later near the intersection of Pine Lake and Newporte Boulevard, police say Magana drove left of the center line and crashed into an impact attenuator, causing her vehicle to go airborne and roll over before landing on its roof in a northbound lane.
