LAGRANGECOUNTY/STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) - A large stretch of the Indiana Toll Road is currently closed while crews work to remove a semi that was involved in an overnight crash.
According to officials, eastbound lanes are closed from State Road 9 in LaGrange County to I-69 in Steuben County for the cleanup, and they’re expected to be closed for the next several hours.
Eastbound traffic is now being diverted off the Indiana Toll Road at Exit 121 (Howe/LaGrange). The detour route is south on State Road 9 to east on State Road 120 and north on I-69 back to eastbound Indiana Toll Road.
The crash happened around 2 a.m. near mile marker 143.6 in Steuben County. According to police, a semi crashed after going into a closed lane that is under construction.
The driver was not hurt.
