BENTON HARBOR, Mich. (WNDU) - A 15-year-old boy has died from his injuries in a shooting last week in Benton Harbor, and a 19-year-old man is facing charges in his death.

Police say the shooting happened last Wednesday afternoon in the 1000 block of Buss Avenue.

The 15-year-old was taken to a local hospital but later transferred to a hospital in Kalamazoo for advanced treatment.

According to police, the boy died from his injuries on Saturday morning. The 15-year old’s name was not released by police, but our reporting partners at The Herald-Palladium say the child’s mother identified him as Cotrevion Miller-Bridgeman.
