RAYNHAM, Mass. (WPRI) — Part of I-495 south was shut down Tuesday morning after a dump truck flipped over, spilling gravel and fuel across the highway.

Raynham fire officials said the truck crashed and rolled over the median just after 8 a.m.

The driver reportedly refused emergency transport to the hospital.

Cleanup is underway to remove the gravel, hydraulic fluid and diesel fuel that spilled.

Massachusetts State Police and the Department of Transportation responded, diverting traffic through Exit 18 while the road was closed.
