AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) - One man was sentenced to a total of seven years in prison on Thursday after he pleaded guilty to charges of assaulting a public servant, evading arrest and unauthorized use of a vehicle, following a June police chase and crash in Amarillo.

According to court documents, 27-year-old Aaron Walling was sentenced to seven years for assault of a public servant, five years for evading arrest with a vehicle, and 14 months for unauthorized use of a vehicle. Those sentences are expected to be carried out concurrently.
