You will find convicted sex offender Randall Hopley in the dictionary somewhere between pond scum and sewage.

The pedophilic scofflaw has repeatedly breached parole, probation, bail and any other condition the justice system lays on him. And yet, the last chances keep on flowing.

Even the softer than a baby’s bottom Parole Board of Canada states that Hopley remains an “undue risk to society.” And yet, they keep releasing him.

Who is Hopley? His criminal CV dates to 1985 with highlights including sexual assault, child abduction, and property offences.

He was most recently serving a six-year sentence for abducting a three-year-old boy in southeastern B.C. in 2011. Hopley was then released in 2018 to a Vancouver halfway house under a 10-year supervision order.
