An investigation is underway after two teenagers were stabbed in Birmingham .

West Midlands Police and paramedics were called to Highfield Road, Alum Rock, just before 5pm on Sunday, September 21, where they found an 17-year-old and an 18-year-old with knife wounds.

West Midlands Ambulance Service gave trauma care at the scene for 'potentially serious injuries' before the victims were transferred to hospital.

Their injuries were said to be non life-threatening.

Police appealed to anyone with information or CCTV to get in touch.
