A Rochester, NY man possibly unable to find warehouse work closer to home is being held without bail after his arrest on charges he went after a co-worker at an Amazon warehouse in Revere with two machetes and had him cornered and on the ground when another worker called out his name, distracting him and letting his target escape, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Evens Laforet, 24, was arraigned yesterday in Chelsea District Court on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon (machete), assault to murder, and assault and battery, the DA's office says. Judge Stuart Hurowitz ordered Laforet held without bail at least pending a dangerousness hearing Thursday.
