Pittsburgh has been recognized as a premier destination for festivals and events for the second year in a row.

The International Festivals & Events Association named Pittsburgh as a “World Festival & Event City” for “exemplifying a strong commitment to creating and supporting positive environments for festivals and events” in the community.

From the Three Rivers Arts Festival to the Pittsburgh Marathon, Anthrocon, Little Italy Days, Barrel & Flow Fest, Juneteenth, Pittsburgh Pride and the Vintage Grand Prix, the Steel City is home to a wide range of large-scale events and festivals.

“Pittsburgh is a place where world-class festivals flourish, and this award reinforces that our city belongs on the global stage,” said VisitPITTSBURGH President & CEO Jerad Bachar.
