The Ottawa Rapid FC defeated the Vancouver Rise FC on Saturday (Sept. 20) and clinched its spot in the Northern Super League (NSL) playoffs.
The Rise FC held possession 64 per cent of the match and took 19 shots, eight of which were on goal, while the Rapid FC took eight shots, five of which were on goal.
"It was a frustrating afternoon at Swangard Stadium on Saturday, as Vancouver Rise FC lost 3-0 to Ottawa Rapid FC despite dominating a majority of the match," noted a Rise FC press release Saturday.
