For Outer Banks fans, Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline’s relationship might as well be the one that got away. After meeting on the show and playing a couple onscreen, the duo started dating in April 2020. However, by September 2021, breakup rumors were already circulating the couple. Sources confirmed the split that November.

Since calling it quits, Stokes and Cline have both moved on — even if their fans have not. For a little under three years, Stokes dated country singer Kelsea Ballerini before calling it quits in September. Meanwhile, Cline had flings with comedian Pete Davidson and (reportedly) DJ Zack Bia . All the while, they continued to act opposite each other.
