Week 2 of the 2025 season. Consecutive game number 84 for me. After the chaos and magic of the Week 1 home opener, this one felt more like a business trip, both for me and for the Bills.

The weekend started down in Miami on Saturday, where I made the 2.5-hour drive to Hard Rock Stadium to catch my alma mater’s (Miami Hurricanes) college football game. Of course, Mother Nature wasn’t in the mood to cooperate. After the first quarter, we sat through an hour-and-a-half delay thanks to storms, a reminder that my plans don’t always matter when football and Florida weather are involved.
