If you live in Florida, seeing alligators in a backyard pool, crossing the street or showing up at your front door is quite common.

"You should never handle an alligator, even a small one, because alligator bites can result in serious infection and it’s illegal."

In is considered the norm. After all, sometimes they show up in a pool, crossing the street or − ack! − in someone's living room.

One outside a Clermont, Florida, home, and, according to the video, it showed some human-like traits as it tried to evade capture by local deputies. In the video, put together by drone and bodycam footage from the sheriff's office, the large alligator:
