DENVER (KDVR) — How many FOX31 team members does it take to free a baby squirrel?

Four, apparently.

Typically, the journalists head out of the FOX31 building to track down the news, but on Friday night, a baby squirrel decided to make the news from inside the station.

Security cameras captured a rogue baby squirrel running through the hallways near the station's parking garage, with journalists Greg Nieto and Nate Belt, accompanied by photojournalist Mike Roberts in tow.

The three attempted to usher the squirrel to the exit, but it led them on a wild squirrel chase.

It darted around the point where two hallways intersected, moving side to side, looking like something straight out of a "Scooby Doo" monster chase scene.
