RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -The Annual Cordillera International Film Festival (CIFF) is bringing movie magic to Reno-Tahoe, showcasing films from around the world and highlighting creators with strong ties to Northern Nevada.
One of those filmmakers is Mitch Yapko, who has spent more than 20 years behind the camera creating everything from short films to features. Yapko says Northern Nevada has become one of his favorite places to bring stories to life.
“Shooting here is exciting to me because the energy of the people is through the roof,” Yapko said. “That’s an energy worth capturing, and I don’t want to let go of it. I’m just so excited to continue that process.”
