The Varsity 845 football players of the week polls are online for Sept. 18-20. There will be voting in the large- and small-school divisions.

Information was utilized on reports gathered by Varsity 845. Coaches are encouraged to provide their game reports in order for athletes to be chosen; they may also nominate one player from their team by Sunday afternoon.

Winners of each weekly contest will be ineligible for the ensuing two weeks: Danny Lupkovich of Warwick and Brennan Tesseyman of Washingtonville in large schools, Koen McGill and Connor Ranaudo of Eldred in small schools.

Last week, Tesseyman of Washingtonville beat Jack Purvis of Kingston and Jake Giordano of Goshen in the large-school poll; Ranaudo beat Nick Sharp of Chester and Dylan Fox of Port Jervis in the small-school poll.
