Calgary police are asking for help from the public in locating a woman missing for more than a week.

Thirty-three-year-old Shinise was last seen in the city’s downtown on the evening of Sunday, Sept. 14 and hasn’t been heard from since.

Police say it is unusual for her to go this long without contacting family or friends, and both they and the police are concerned for her well-being.

Shinise is around 5’3″ tall and 140 pounds, with dark hair and brown eyes.

She is known to frequent the downtown area and the area near Chinook Centre.

Shinise also uses the Calgary Transit system.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234 or tip anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
