A 19-year-old Allentown woman is facing assault charges after her friend suffered a traumatic brain injury while “surfing” on the trunk of her moving car, authorities said.
Eniya Serina Alvardo was driving around 30-35 mph while he 20-year-old friend was standing on the trunk and rear windshield of the car, according to court records.
The friend was holding onto the inside rear driver side door, when she rolled off onto the parking lot and struck her head on the pavement on March 18 at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Park And Ride at 6055 William Penn Highway in Bethlehem Township , records say.
Investigators found the 20-year-old female victim bleeding from her head in the backseat of Alvardo’s car. A group of males and females surrounded the woman, who was screaming
