AUBURN — The Jackson Arnold - Oklahoma reunion tour is officially in the rearview mirror.

The former Sooner returned to Norman this past weekend with Auburn football , and he found himself taken down in the backfield often against his former team in a 24-17 defeat for the Tigers on Saturday, Sept. 20.

It was a brutal ending for the visitors, who put themselves in dire straights heading into their final drive. A special teams penalty on the drive-opening kick return put Auburn against its own end zone. Then Oklahoma continued to rattle the pocket, eventually taking down Arnold for a game-sealing sack in the end zone.

However agonizing as it was, the contest wasn't something Auburn couldn't build on. At least, not in Arnold's eyes.
