Montgomery police have charged a woman in connection with a weekend fatal stabbing that left a 19-year-old dead.

Police have charged Derrickanna Dunklin, 20, with murder, said Lt. Ernestina McGriff spokeswoman for the Montgomery Police Department. Dunklin was placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility, McGriff said. Dunklin could not be reached for comment and court records do not show if she has an attorney.

On Sept. 21 at about 2:11 a.m., officers went to a local hospital on a report of people stabbed. Ahmari Capleton, 19, sustained life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead, McGriff said. Investigators said the incident happened in the 3200 block of Raintree Drive.
