As we head toward National Rhode Island Day on Oct. 5, voters were pretty clear about who should advance through the first round of our Most Rhode Island Thing Ever bracket.
The closest contest came in our Landmark quadrant, where the State House beat out the Superman building by a 54% to 46% margin. The remaining seven matchups were each determined by at least 42 percentage points, with the Block Island Ferry Jingle topping Taylor Swift's vacation home by 64 percentage points, resulting in the largest margin of any victory.
