A jury in a Fort Pierce federal courthouse has found Ryan Wesley Routh guilty on all five counts after he attempted to assassinate Donald Trump.

Routh, when the verdict was being read, grabbed a pen and stabbed himself in the neck, NBC is reporting .

His daughter screamed when it happened.

The five counts are:

Attempted assassination of a major presidential candidate

Possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence

Assaulting a federal officer

Felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition

Possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number

The jury deliberated for about two hours.

Routh, who had pleaded not guilty to all the charges, now faces life in prison when he is sentenced.
