IOWA CITY — After toppling Rutgers in the Big Ten opener, Iowa football has another hefty challenge ahead in No. 12 Indiana.

Ahead of the Week 5 game, Hawkeyes coach Kirk Ferentz met with the media to break down the matchup, the state of Iowa football and more.

Here’s what stood out.

Kirk Ferentz provides injury updates on Jaz Patterson and Seth Anderson.

“Jaz will not make the game,” Ferentz said after Patterson injured his ankle against Rutgers. “Patterson is out certainly this week, and we’ll see how it goes moving forward.”

As for wide receiver Seth Anderson, who was also injured at Rutgers, the wide receiver has practiced the last two days and looks ready to go.
